Address:Kursi tänav 3, Tallinn
The workshop has a symbolic participation fee of 5 EUR
The workshop is only in Estonian
The aim of the workshop is to encourage participants to think about everyday lighting around us. A small change in home lighting can significantly affect our perception of space, mood, and the overall atmosphere. Through practical work, we want each participant to gain an understanding of the transformative power and potential of lighting design – why and when to use different lighting layers, what parameters to consider (light distribution, color temperature, intensity, etc.), and whether and how to control the lighting. Over the course of three hours, we will cover the theory, principles of layered lighting, sketch designs, and in two teams, create a desired atmosphere with lighting in the given space.
The workshop is conducted by the Estonian Lighting Designers’ Association – Mariliis Kundla and Katrin Kivisikk
