Take part in Open House Europe Visual Stories project

07/10/2024

We invite you to participate in the Open House Europe Visual Stories project and explore accessibility and inclusion in architecture.

We hope that this year’s Open House Tallinn will raise your awareness of accessibility and inclusion in urban spaces and the field of architecture. We encourage you to express this year’s theme, “Accessibility and Inclusion,” in any artistic form you feel comfortable with. It can be a photo series, a short film (up to 1 minute), a drawing, or any other format.

The best works will be selected by the Open House Tallinn jury and will be showcased together with works from other Open House Europe partner festivals in early 2025 in Dublin. In the future, the exhibition will travel between various Open House festivals across Europe. Additionally, the selected visual stories will appear in a publication and on the Open House Europe website. At the end of the year, three works will be chosen from across all the Open House Europe festivals’ visual stories, and their authors will win a trip to their desired Open House Europe partner festival in 2025 or to the OHEU Annual Summit in Dublin.

Submission details and further information can be found here.

The submission period for the Visual Stories project is from October 12th to November 12th. Participants will be entered into a raffle for Open House Tallinn souvenirs and other prizes.

This is not a competition but an opportunity to explore and share your story about architecture and inclusion.
